Solve the following equations.
sin2x(0.1(0.1)cosx)=sin2x+0.2sin3x.

Open in App
Solution

sin2x(0.1(0.1)cosx)=sin2x+0.2sin3x
(0.1)(0.1)cosx=sin2x+0.2sin3xsin2x
we know that
sin2x=2sinxcosx
(0.10.1cosx)=2sinxcosx+0.2sin3x2sinxcosx
0.10.1cosx=1+0.1sin2xcosx
0.10.1cosx=cosx+0.1sin2xcosx
using cross multiplication
(0.10.1cosx)cosx=cosx+0.1sin2x
0.1×cosx0.1cos2x=cosx+0.1sin2x
0.1×cosx=cosx+0.1(sin2x+cos2x)
1{sin2x+cos2x=1}
0.1×cosx=cosx+0.1×1
0.1cosxcosx=0.1
cosx(0.19)=0.1
cosx(8.9)=0.1
cosx=189
x=cos1(189)
x=πcos1(189)
