$x + 2 y = 2$ ......(1)
$2 x + 3 y = 3$ ........(2)
In equation 1,
$x = 2 - 2 y$
Therefore, in equation 2,
$2 (2 - 2 y) + 3 y = 3$
$4 - 4 y + 3 y = 3$
$y = 1$
Therefore, $x = 0$
Hence, $x = 0$ and $y = 1$ .
