Consider 2x–7<5x+2
By taking the like terms to one side of equation, we get, 5x−2x>−7−2 3x>−9 x>−93 x>−3
Now, consider 5x+2≤3x+14
By taking the like terms to one side of equation,we get,
5x−3x≤14−2 2x≤12 x≤122 x≤6
As per the condition in the question x∈R
Therefore, the solution set is x={−3<x≤6}
