The correct option is C x=6,y=4
25x+y3xy=1,40x+y+2xy=5
Let, 1x+y=m and 1xy=n
25m3n=1 ...(1)
40m+2n=5 ...(2)
Multiply eq(1) by 2 and eq(2) by 3 and add
50m+120m=17
m=110
Hence, n=12
Thus, x+y=10
an xy=2
or, x=6,y=4
