The correct option is Cx=6,y=4 25x+y−3x−y=1,40x+y+2x−y=5
Let, 1x+y=m and 1x−y=n 25m−3n=1 ...(1) 40m+2n=5 ...(2) Multiply eq(1) by 2 and eq(2) by 3 and add 50m+120m=17 m=110 Hence, n=12 Thus, x+y=10 an x−y=2 or, x=6,y=4
