The correct option is B x=3,y=9
xy6=2(4x)xy=4812x13xy=48 ...(i)
2x+y=3(x4)2x+y=3x12xy=12 ...(ii)
On subtracting (ii) from (i), we get
12x=36x=3
On putting x=3 in (ii), we get
3y=12y=9
Therefore, x=3,y=9
