The correct option is B x=12,y=13
52x+23y=7 ............... (1)

3x+2y=12 .................. (2)

Let 1x=p and 1y=q

Then, equation (1) and (2) becomes

52p+23q=7 ...................... (3)

3p+2q=12 ......................... (4)

Further simplifying (3),

15p+4q=42 ............. (5)

Multiplying equation (4) with 2 ,

6p+4q=24 ................. (6)

Subtract (6) from (5),

15p6p=4224
9p=18
p=2

x=12

From equation (4),

2q=123p
2q=126
2q=6
q=3

y=13
