The correct option is B

x=53,y=152


Let 1x=a and 1y=b (As x0,y0)
Then, the given equations become
a+3b=1 …(1)
6a12b=2 …(2)
Multiplying equation (1) by 4, we get 4a+12b=4 …(3)
Adding equation (2) and equation (3), we get 10a=6
a=35
Putting a=35in equation (1), we get
35+3b=1
b=1(35)3
b=215
Hence,
x=53,y=152
