To check to the nearest tens place of a number, you look at the digit of the given number at the extreme right.

If it is greater than 4, you round it up.
If it is equal to or less than 4, you round it down.

To round off to hundreds place, you look at digit in the tens place.
If it is greater than 4, you round the number up.
If it is less than or equal to 4, you round the number down.


For all numbers from 196 to 204, both the closest tens place and the closest hundreds place is equal to 200.

But, among the given options, the only number that lies between 196 and 204 is 201.
