Open in App
Solution

Consider the given equation.

12a+b+2x=12a+1b+12x

12a+b+2x12x=12a+1b

2x(2a+b+2x)(2a+b+2x)2x=2a+b2ab

(2a+b)(2a+b+2x)2x=2a+b2ab

1(2a+b+2x)2x=12ab

4ax+2bx+4x2=2ab

4x2+4ax+2bx+2ab=0

4x(x+a)+2b(x+a)=0

(x+a)(4x+2b)=0

x=a,b2

Hence, these are the roots of the given equation.
