Find the square root of the following by long division method.

b) 1.44

a) We have, 27.04

$\therefore \sqrt{27.04}=5.2$

b) We have, 1.44
$\begin{array}{cc}& 1.2\\ 1& \overline{1}.\overline{44}\\ & 1\\ 22& 44\\ & 44\\ & 0\end{array}$
$\therefore \sqrt{1.44}=1.2$
