i) Total no. of people in the height range 149.5 – 159.5 cm = 9

Total no. of people in the entire height range = 30

Percentage of people in the height range 149.5 – 159.5 cm
$=\frac{9}{30}\times 100=30$

= 30%

ii) Solution: People in the height group 159.5-169.5 cm = 7

People in the height group 169.5-179.5 cm = 5

difference between height group 159.5 – 169.5cm and 169.5 – 179.5cm= 7-5=2

Percentage difference between height group 159.5 – 169.5cm and 169.5 – 179.5cm
$=\frac{2}{30}\times 100=6.66$

= 6.66 %
