Solve the following simultaneous equations by using Cramer's rule:

2xy=9

x2y=18...(i)
2xy=9...(ii)
D=1221
=(18+18)=36
Dy=11829
=9+36=45
By Cramer's rule, we get
x=DxD
=363=12
and
y=DyD
=453=15
x=12 and y=15 is the solution of the given simultaneous equations.
