The correct option is D x=9, y=2
x3+5y=13x+15y=39...(1)
2x+y2=194x+y=38...(2)
Multiplying (1) by 4, we have 4x+60y=156...(3)
(3)-(2)59y=118y=2
Substituting this value of y in (1), we have x+15(2)=39x=3930=9
Thus, x=9 and y=2
