Solve the following system of linear equations :

$\sqrt{2}x+\sqrt{3}y=0and\sqrt{3}x-\sqrt{8}y=0$.

$\sqrt{2}x+\sqrt{3}y=0$ ......(1)

$\sqrt{3}x-\sqrt{8}y=0$ .......(2)

Multiplying equation 1 by $\sqrt{8}$ and equation 2 by $\sqrt{3}$, we get,

$4x+\sqrt{24}y=0$ .........(3)

$3x-\sqrt{24}y=0$ .........(4)

On adding 3 and 4, we get,

$x=0$

Putting $x=0$ in equation 1, we get,

$y=0$
$\therefore theanswerisx=0andy=0$
