Bring constant to LHS side ;
$2 x + y - 35 = 0$
$3 x + 4 y - 65 = 0$

By method of cross multiplication :

$\Rightarrow \frac{x}{(1 \times - 65) - (4 \times - 35)} = \frac{y}{(3 \times - 35) - (- 65 \times 2)} = \frac{1}{(2 \times 4) - (3 \times 1)}$

$\Rightarrow x = \frac{75}{5} = 15$

$\Rightarrow y = \frac{25}{5} = 5$
