Solution

We have,

x-4x-5+x-6x-7=103

On combining and solving we get

x-4x-5+x-6x-7=103(x-7)(x-4)+(x-5)(x-6)(x-5)(x-7)=103x2-4x-7x+28+x2-6x-5x+30x2-7x-5x+35=1032x2-22x+58x2-12x+35=1033(2x2-22x+58)=10(x2-12x+35)6x2-66x+174=10x2-120x+35010x2-120x+350-6x2+66x-174=04x2-54x+176=02x2-27x+88=02x2-16x-11x+88=02x(x-8)-11(x-8)=0(x-8)(2x-11)=0

Either,

x-8=0or2x-11=0x=8or2x=11x=8orx=112

Hence, x=8orx=112are the solution of given equation.
