Add and subtract 64 in the equation x2+16x9=0 to make a perfect square as shown below:

x2+16x9=0x2+16x+64649=0(x)2+(2×x×8)+82+(649)=0(x+8)273=0((a+b)2=a2+b2+2ab)(x+8)2=73x+8=±73x+8=73,x+8=73x=(73+8),x=738
Hence, x=(73+8) or x=738.
