Let f(x)=12x39x2+12x+4

Then,f'(x)=-126x2-18x+122x39x2+12x+43/2

Now consider f'(x)=0

-126x2-18x+122x39x2+12x+43/2=0-126x2-18x+12=0-12×23x2-9x+6=0x-1x-2=0x=1or2

The function has minimum at x=1

f(1).1<I<f(2).1

Find the value of f(1)

f(1)=1213912+121+4f(1)=129+12+4f(1)=19f(1)=13

Similarly, Find the value of f(2)

f(2)=1223922+122+4f(2)=12894+124+4f(2)=18

Now f(1)<I<f(2) is obtained as

Square the inequality ,
