Solve the quadratic equation $2x^2+5x+3=0$ using formula method.

Given, $2x^2+5x+3=0$
On comparing it with $a{x}^2+bx+c=0$ where $a=2,b=5$ and $c=3$
$\therefore$ $b^2-4ac={\left(5\right)}^2-4\times 2\times 3$
$25-24=1$
$x=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$
$=\frac{-5\pm \sqrt{{\left(5\right)}^2-4\times 2\times 3}}{2\times 2}=\frac{-5\pm \sqrt{25-24}}{4}=\frac{-5\pm 1}{4}$
$x=\frac{-5-1}{4}$
$x=\frac{-5+1}{4}$
$x=\frac{-4}{4}$ and $x=\frac{-6}{4}$
