A train travels at 55km/h and covers a certain distance in 7 hours. How long will it take for this train to travel the same distance at a speed of 77km/h?

Unitary method

At the speed of 55km/h, the train takes 7h to cover a certain distance.

At the speed of 1km/h, the car will take more time to travel the distance, so we multiply.

At 1km/h, the train takes =(55×7)h

At the speed of 77km/h, the car will take less time to travel the distance, so we divide.

At 77Km/h, the train takes=55×777=5h

Hence, it takes 5h for a train to travel the same distance at a speed of 77km/h.
