$a{x}^2+bx+c=0$ is

$x=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$

Substituting$a=1,b=-4$ and $c=1$

The roots are $2\pm \sqrt{3}$, i.e.

$2+\sqrt{3}$ and $2-\sqrt{3}$
