$x^{2} + 8 x + 16 = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ $x^{2} + 2 \times x \times 4 + 4^{2} = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ $(x + 4)^{2} = 0$
$\Rightarrow (x + 4) (x + 4) = 0$
$\Rightarrow (x + 4) = 0 o r, (x + 4) = 0$
$∴$ $x = - 4, - 4$
