The correct option is B $x = 2, y = 1$
Given,
$x - 2 y = 0... (1)$
$3 x - y = 5... (2)$

From (1),
$x = 2 y$
Substituting this value of $x$ in (2),
$3 (2 y) - y = 5 ⟹ 5 y = 5 ⟹ y = 1$

Now,
$x = 2 y ⟹ x = 2 \times 1 = 2$
