Solution

The correct option is D c, d, e, f, g, i
D. c, d, e, f, g, i
Solution : Since Laminaria is a brown algae, it has alginic acid (a hydrophilic polysaccharide) in the cell wall. Trumpet hypha also in the members of family Laminariaceae. Laminaria also expresses a haplo-diplontic life cycle in which it alternates from a macroscopic stage called sporophyte to a microscopic stage called gametophyte. Zygotic meiosis and isomorphic alteration of generation is also observed in Laminaria. The pigments present are chlorophyll a, chlorophyll c and fucoxanthin.
So the correct answer is "c, d, e, f, g, i".
