Solution

Desert plant:

  1. Desert plants have a high tolerance for sensitivity situations, such as water deprivation, which is why they store water.
  2. The plant is helped by the small leaves and prickly plants, which reduce water loss owing to transpiration.

Benefits of plant adaptations in deserts:

  1. Deserts are far too dry and scorching for life to exist there. Despite the arid circumstances, just a few plants have evolved to flourish in this environment.
  2. Succulents are water-holding plants with modified stems and leaves.
  3. The spines of cacti also help to prevent excessive water loss.
  4. Some plants can draw water from the earth thanks to their long, deep roots.
  5. In order to preserve energy, other plants grow shorter.
  6. Another sort of adaptation is dormancy; few seeds stay latent until they have the water they need to grow.
  7. Hence, the desert plants are ideal for arid gardens because of their ability to store water.
