    1. -Ans: Electrolytic decomposition:
      Decomposition of any molecule by using electricity is termed electrolytic decomposition.
    2. Uses:
      There are certain compounds that dissociate at higher temperatures for such molecules by using electricity will dissociate easily.
    3. Example: NaCl molecule will dissociate at higher temperatures, but on electrolysis, it will decompose easily.
      Using electricity non-spontaneous reactions can also take place easily.
    4. Example: Water cannot be dissociated easily by supplying but when electricity it can be dissociated into its elements.
