Solution
Androgen:
The male hormone, androgen is secreted by the testes present in the male reproductive system, some amount by the ovaries of the female reproductive system, and the adrenal glands located above the kidneys.
However, excessive secretion of this hormone in the female fetus before the complete formation of ovaries causes abnormal development of muscles, beards, and mustache.
Sometimes it results in female sterility leading to a degeneration of the uterus and the inability to produce offspring.
It can also cause high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and heart disease.
