Some of very old glass objects appear slightly milky 8nstead of being transparent

Solution

Dear student
Glass is made up of silica which is partially crystalline and partially amorphous. With passage of time as temperature changes some of the atoms in glass become more rearranged and they become crystalline. The long alternate exposure of light and dark due to day and night causes the heat difference which may convert amorphous to some crystalline form and this makes the appearance of glass milky.
