Suppose , the yield of wheat is x quintals.
∴ Cultivation of bajri is 5 quintals less than double the yield of wheat i.e (2x-5)
Total yield of both , wheat and bajri (x+(2x-5)) is 115 quintals .
∴x+(2x−5)=115
∴x+2x=5=115
∴3x−5=115
∴3x=115+5
∴3x=120
∴x=1203
∴x=40
∴ The yield of wheat is 40 quintals.
2x−5=2(40)−5
=80−5
=75
∴ The yield of bajri must be 75 quintals.
