Let his total salary be x
Total savings = x - $(\frac{3 x}{11} + \frac{1 x}{4})$ = x - $(\frac{23 x}{44})$
= $\frac{21 x}{44}$
According to the question;
$\frac{21 x}{44}$ = 4200
$\Rightarrow$ x = 8800
Amount donated to charity = 2400
Amount denoted in savings = 2200
