Solution

A baby goes through several stages of development, beginning as a fertilized egg. The fertilised egg is called a zygote. The zygote undergoes cleavage or division and becomes a blastocyst or an embryo. When the embryo starts having the look of a baby,i.e., from 7 weeks of gestation and onwards, the embryo is called a foetus. A foetus is the unborn offspring of the organism. When a foetus completes the gestation period and is delivered, it is called a baby.
