Vermicompost is very advantageous method of waste management wherein biodegradable waste are converted into useful manure. First a bed made of mud is being prepared and degradable waste are added. Then, earthworms are added to the mixture. These earthworms eat the waste materials and converted them into a compost. This method is therefore known as vermicompost.
