Air enters our body through the nose. From the nose it enters a cavity called nasal cavity. Nasal cavity leads to a passage called pharynx. Pharynx is a common passage for both food and air. Air from pharynx enters the trachea or wind pipe. Trachea branches to form the bronchi. Bronchi leads to air sacks called alveoli where exchange of gases takes place.
