where $K=$ elasticity of medium ,

$\rho =$ density of medium ,

therefore ,

or $v\propto \sqrt{1/\rho }$ ,

as speed of sound is inversely proportional to square root of density of medium , at higher temperature density of the medium decreases hence speed of sound increases therefore sound travels faster at higher temperature of the medium .
