Dear student,
i) ROOT PRESSURE = It is type of osmotic pressure which enable the sap to rise through a plant stem to leaves. It is a transverse osmotic pressure.It occurs in the xylem of plant when thesoil moisture level is high.
ii) TRANSPIRATION = It is the process of evaporation of water from plants through aerial parts such as leaves ,stems etc.Water is needed by the plants in very small amount and the excess of water is removed by transpiration.
iii) NERVE CELL = It is also known as NEURON . It is the functional unit of central nervous system. It receives , processes and transmits information through electrical impulses.
iv) HUMAN BRAIN = It is centre of command of central nervous system of human body.It receives input from sensory organs and send output for reaction. It is divided into three parts :- Forebrain , Midbrain & Hindbrain.
v) REFLEX ACTION = It is the instant and sudden reaction of body to stimulus. It is involuntary action.
