Dear student,
Gravitational water :- The water that moves through the soil due to the force of gravity and is not available to plant is called gravitational water.
Capillary water :- Capillary water may be defined as the water which remains in the soil even after the drainage of the gravitational water. It occurs in the form of a film surrounding the particles of soil.
Hygroscopic water :- Water retained by the soil through atmospheric moisture is hygroscopic water. It is not sufficient for plant survival.
Chemically combined water :- Water which is chemically combined with the mineral of soil. It is found in the form of hydrated oxides of metals.
Runaway water :- Water which is not absorbed by the soil and moves into the rivers and ponds is runaway water.
