The correct option is B 0.03 mm
Given, mass of the wire,

m=6 g =6×103 kg

Length of the wire, l=60 cm =0.6 m

Area of cross section,

A=1 mm2 =106 m2

Speed of the transverse wave, v=90 m/s

And Young's modulus of the wire,

Y=16×1011 N/m2,

As we know, speed of transverse wave in the wire, v=Tμ

v=    YAΔllml

90=(16×1011×106×Δl6×103)

Δl=8100×38×108=0.03 mm
