Solution

The correct option is A 588π cm2
We know that,
surface area of sphere
=4πr2

Given that,
initial radius of sphere = 7 cm.
final radius of sphere = 14 cm.

Now,
change in surface area of sphere
= final surface area of sphere - initial surface area of sphere
= 4π×142 - 4π×72
= 588π cm2
