Funicle
Funicle is the stalk of an ovule by which it is attached to the placenta. Raphe is an elongated mass of tissue, containing vascular bundle, and lying on the side of an anatropus ovule, between the chalaza and the attachment to the placenta. Hilum is the scar on the testa where it was attached to the funicle. Chalaza is the side opposite to the one bearing the micropyle of an ovule.
