  • Redox potential is a measure of the tendency of a chemical species to acquire electrons from or lose electrons to an electrode and thereby be reduced or oxidized respectively.
  • The higher the standard reduction potential higher will be the tendency of that element to get reduced ( that means strong oxidizing agent ).
  • The lower the standard reduction potential, the higher will be the tendency of that element to get oxidized ( that means good reducing agent ).
  • Now B has minimum standard reduction potential which means it is the strongest reducing agent. So the correct sequence of reducing the power of elements will be B>C>A.
