Starting from a point, a person walked 12 m North, he turned right and walked 10 m, he again turned right and walked 12 m, then he turned left and walked 5 m. How far is he now and in which direction from the starting point?

The correct option is C 15 m, towards East
A person walked 12 m North, then he turned right and walked 10 m.
So, the person is 22m far from the starting point.
Then he turned right towards South and walked 12 m.
So, he walked making U turn. Thus, he covered the distance of 12 m and hence, he is is the same line and 10 m far where he started from.
Then he turned left towards East and Walked 5 m.
Thus, he is towards East from the original position and 15 m far from the starting point.
Hence, option B is correct.
