Solution
Nitrogenous Base → Nucleosides → Nucleotides → Nucleic acid
The nitrogen bases are of two types- pyrimidines and purines.
In DNA and RNA, the purines Adenine and Guanine, and the pyrimidine cytosine are the same. But, pyrimidine Thymine and Uracil are found in DNA and RNA respectively.
The nucleotides are composed of a nitrogen base pairs with a sugar moiety in DNA the sugar is deoxyribose sugar while in RNA it is ribose sugar.
