menarche is the first menstural flow at oneset of puberty in girls while the menopause is the age when ovaries of a women stops releasing eggs menopause starts between the age of 45 to 50 years of age

Menarche is the onset of menstrual cycle or first menstruation in females on reaching puberty. The stoppage of menstrual flow and other events is termed as menopause
It marks the beginning of reproductive life of a women. It marks the end of the reproductive life of human female.
The average age of menarche is 12-13 years. The average age of menopause is 50 years.
