Noise is undesired high level of sound. The measures to control noise pollution are:

(a) Reduction of noise can be brought by the use of sound absorbent materials or by muffling noise.

(b) Delimitation of horn-free zones around hospitals and schools.

(c) Growing of more plants can also minimize the noise pollution.

(d) Permissible sound-levels of crackers and of loudspeakers, timings after which loudspeakers cannot be played.
