State any three methods which are used for reducing friction.

To reduce friction we can use the following methods:

1. We can do oiling or lubrication of the moving parts in the machine to reduce friction.
2. We can replace sliding friction by rolling friction by using a ball bearing in the rotating parts
3. Also friction can be reduced by reducing the normal force between area of contact.
