Length of the wire: The resistance of a wire is directly proportional to the length of the wire $(l), i . e (R \propto l)$ .
Area of cross section of wire: The resistance of a wire is inversely proportional to the area of cross section of the wire $(A), i . e R \propto \frac{1}{A}$ .
