a) Uses of iron:

• Plumbing pipes used in our houses are generally made of iron.
• Being a very srong material, iron is often used to make parts of automobiles.

b) Uses of copper:

• Most important use of copper is in making electrical wires. Almost all the wiring work is done using copper.
• Copper is often also used as a material for making utensils.

c) Uses of aluminium:

• Aluminium is quite lightweight and is hence used to make airplane parts.
• The foil used to wrap food items is made of aluminium.
