State Archimedes' principle. Write two applications of this principle.

Archimedes' Principle:-

Whenever an object is immersed wholly or partially in a fluid, it experiences an upward force of buoyancy due to that fluid and the magnitude of this force is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by it.

Application of principles are:-

1. Hydrometers are used for determining the density of the liquid.
2. It is used to design ships and submarines.
