Force vibrations are vibrations that take place under the influence of an external periodic force.
Step 2:
Characteristics of forced vibrations:
The body learns to recognize the frequency of a periodic external force.
If the frequency of the external force is substantially different from the body’s natural frequency, the amplitude of forced vibration is quite modest.
Vibration amplitude is constant over time, while magnitude is dependent on the frequency of the driving force.
The amplitude of oscillations is very great if the frequency of external force is exactly equal or is an integral multiple vibrating body.
