The common acts are Water Act, Air Act, etc. The functions of the MPCB is to control the type of pollution by implementing taxes and fines. The organization is responsible to minimise the reasons that cause pollution. Educate the people and create awareness about the consequences of pollution. Support and help in the development of programs which focus on recycling and reducing wastes.
